Scutellaria australis (Fassett) Epling. Common name: Southern Skullcap. Phenology: May-July. Habitat: Bottomland forests, rocky woodlands, glades, barrens, prairies. Distribution: NC, s. WV, KY, IN, IL, MO, and KS, south to Panhandle FL, LA, and e. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
