Verbena halei Small. Texas Vervain. Phen: (Feb-) Apr-Jun (-Nov). Hab: Dry hammocks, prairies, open woodlands, roadsides, pastures. Dist: C. GA south to c. peninsular FL, TX, AZ, and Mexico; scattered as an introduction farther north, as in NC and SC.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = Ar, Fl6, GrPl, K1, K3, K4, Mex, NcTx, RAB, S, Tx, Nesom (2010b); = Verbena officinalis L. ssp. halei (Small) S.C.Barber – WH3, Barber (1982)
