Eupatorium species 1 . Common name: Tennessee Eupatorium. Habitat: Forest. Distribution: E. TN (Unicoi County).
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: Although Schilling & Schilling (2015) declined to give this apomictic entity a species name "because it is not clear that it will persist to become part of the flora", I here treat it provisionally as a species and key it to elicit further observations. It is an apomict derived from hybridization of E. pilosum × E. sessilifolium.
Other Comments: See Schilling & Schilling (2015) for detailed information.
