Sporobolus pyramidatus (Lamarck) A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Match Grass, Whorled Dropseed. Phenology: Mar-Nov. Habitat: Salt and brackish marsh, coastal rock barren, disturbed coastal areas. Distribution: S. FL; IL, MO, NE, CO, and UT south through LA, TX, NM, and AZ to Mexico, Central America, and South America; West Indies.
