Silphium confertifolium Small. Common name: Black Belt Rosinweed. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Limestone glades, calcareous clay prairies. Distribution: Black Belt of AL and e. MS; in the Black Belt, Wayne County limestone glades, and eastern Jackson prairie variants.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
