Galactia microphylla (Chapman) Hall & Ward ex Isely. Common name: Littleleaf Milkpea. Phenology: Apr-Sep (-Oct). Habitat: Dunes, longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub. Distribution: S. AL and adjacent w. Panhandle FL.
ID notes: "Compared to Galactia floridana, G. microphylla has shorter internodes, smaller and thinner leaves light green on both surfaces and glaucous beneath, shorter inflorescences with fewer flowers, and minutely and closely strigulose calyces" (Nesom 2015).
