Bidens mitis (Michaux) Sherff. Common name: Coastal Plain Tickseed-sunflower. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Brackish marshes, fresh marshes, bogs (inland). Distribution: NJ south to FL, west to TX, primarily Coastal Plain, rare and scattered inland.
