not marked as a favorite taxon Cirsium lecontei Torrey & A. Gray. Common name: LeConte's Thistle. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Wet loamy pine savannas, seepage bogs. Distribution: E. North Carolina south to Panhandle Florida, west to Louisiana.
