Coreopsis nudata Nuttall. Swamp Coreopsis. Phen: Mar-Apr. Hab: Seasonally flooded pineland depressions, either herbaceous-dominated or under a canopy of Taxodium ascendens. Dist: E. GA (in close proximity to SC) south to ne. FL and Panhandle FL, west to e. LA. See Barger et al. (2023) for confirmation of its imperilment in AL.

ID notes:Immediately recognizable by its pink-rayed flowers and juncoid leaves.
