Distribution: Native of sw. United States (AZ, NM, w. TX, sw. UT, s, NV) and n. and c. Mexico (AGU, BCN, CHH, COA, COL, DUR, HID, JAL, MEX, MIC, NAY, NLE, SLP, SIN, SON, TAM, VER, ZAC).
