*Dittrichia graveolens (Linnaeus) Greuter. Habitat: Disturbed urban and suburban areas; in SC in waste area around wool-combing mills. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe, but quite possibly introduced into SC by wool from Australia where it is naturalized (Nesom 2004d).

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa
