Eupatorium linearifolium Walter. Common name: Narrowleaf Bushy Eupatorium, Twisted Eupatorium. Phenology: Late Jul-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Se. VA south to FL and west to LA.

Taxonomy Comments: The appropriate treatment of this taxon is unclear; it may be a derivative of the hybrid E. cuneifolium × hyssopifolium.

Leaves: Leaves usually opposite, often subtending branches, sessile or subsessile, ascending, oblong to lance-oblong, 3/4-1 1/2 in. long, minutely hairy and gland-dotted.
