not marked as a favorite taxon Eupatorium mikanioides Chapman. Common name: Semaphore Thoroughwort, Semaphore Eupatorium. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Saline and brackish flats, seasonally ponded freshwater wetlands, wet flatwoods, marl prairies. Distribution: Endemic to Florida, primarily in the peninsula, but also along the coast of the eastern Panhandle (Bay, Franklin, Gulf, Taylor, and Wakulla counties).
