Distribution: Endemic from ne. FL south to c. peninsular FL. A T.G. Harbison specimen of this species (NCU9932) was labeled as being from Charleston, SC, based on its being pressed in a Charleston newspaper dated 1916-11-16, but is more parsimoniously interpreted as having been collected by Harbison when he was in FL later that month.
