Helenium badium (A. Gray ex S. Watson) Greene. Common name: Bason Sneezeweed. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Open areas; eastwards as a waif in waste areas around a wool-combing mill (Nesom 2004d). Distribution: Native of OK, TX, and Mexico.
