Helianthus eggertii Small. Common name: Eggert's Sunflower, Tennessee Sunflower. Phenology: Aug-Sep. Habitat: Limestone and diabase barrens. Distribution: Sc. KY, c. TN, n. AL, and sc. AL (Coastal Plain); disjunct in nc. SC.
