*Heliomeris multiflora Nuttall var. multiflora. Common name: Golden-eye. Phenology: May. Habitat: Waste areas around wool-combing mill, perhaps only a waif. Distribution: Native of w. United States and Mexico.

Origin/Endemic status: W. North America

Other Comments: Reported for Berkeley County, SC from wool-combing mills (Nesom 2004d), otherwise essentially absent from our flora region.
