Isoetes echinospora Durieu. Spiny-spore Quillwort. Hab: In acid lakes, ponds, and rivers (submerged to emersed), tidal mud flats. Dist: Circumboreal, in North America from Greenland, NL (Labrador), and AK south to DE, n. OH, MI, WI, CO, and CA.
