Packera paupercula (Michaux) Á. Löve & D. Löve var. appalachiana A.M. Mahoney. Common name: Appalachian Groundsel, Appalachian Ragwort. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Glades, cliffs, barrens, over mafic, or calcareous rocks. Distribution: E. WV and w. VA south to w. NC and e. TN.
