Solidago auriculata Shuttleworth ex Blake. Subgenus: Pleiactila. Section: Venosae. Subsection: Ulmifoliae. Common name: Eared Goldenrod. Phenology: Aug-Sep. Habitat: Rocky forests over circumneutral rocks, bottomland forests, calcareous hammocks. Distribution: Wc. SC, sc. TN (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), AR, and se. OK south to GA, c. Panhandle FL, AL, MS, LA, and e. TX.
