Solidago lancifolia (Torrey & A. Gray) Chapman. Subgenus: Pleiactila. Section: Glomeruliflorae. Common name: Lanceleaf Goldenrod. Phenology: Late Aug-Sep. Habitat: Grassy balds, openings in spruce-fir and northern hardwoods forests, at high elevations. Distribution: Sw. VA south to w. NC and e. TN.
