Solidago racemosa Greene. Sticky Goldenrod. Phen: Aug-Sep. Hab: Rocky, flood-scoured riversides. Dist: ME and QC south to n. VA and WV; plants in the Cumberland Plateau of KY and ne. TN (Churchill & Schell 1992; Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997) previously attributed to S. racemosa appear to be a mix of true S. racemosa and a population perhaps best considered either as a disjunct and somewhat morphologically disparate part of the newly named S. arenicola or as a new taxon (Floden 2012).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
