Solidago roanensis T.C. Porter. Common name: Roan Mountain Goldenrod. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Forests, woodlands, roadbanks. Also along dry rocky ridges or ledges. Distribution: MD and WV south to n. GA, largely Appalachian.
