Solidago nitida Torrey & A. Gray. Subgenus: Pleiactila. Section: Ptarmicoidei. Common name: Shiny Goldenrod. Phenology: (Jul-) Aug-Oct. Habitat: Pine savannas, sandy prairies. Distribution: MS west to s. AR, se. OK, and TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: A diploid species (2n=18).
