Symphyotrichum ericoides (Linnaeus) Nesom var. ericoides. Common name: Heath Aster, Squarrose White Aster. Phenology: (Aug-) Sep-Nov. Habitat: Limestone glades, prairies, other open, calcareous situations. Distribution: ME, NL (Labrador), ON, ND, CO, and UT, south to VA, MS, LA (Kelley 2022c), TX, and Mexico (CHH, COA, HGO, NLE, VER).
