*Helleborus Linnaeus. Common name: Hellebore, Christmas-rose.
A genus of about 21 species, perennial herbs, of Europe and Asia.
Subfamily: Ranunculoideae. Tribe: Helleboreae.ID notes: Other species of Helleborus are increasingly being cultivated; all have the potential to naturalize.
