Key to Hylodesmum

A genus of ca. 15 species, perennial herbs, mainly of e. Asia and e. North America. This group has often been included in Desmodium as a section or subgenus, but is now shown to be amply distinct in morphology and also to form a monophyletic group based on molecular analysis.
