*Cerastium tomentosum Linnaeus. Common name: Snow-in-summer, Dusty Miller. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Eurasia. This species is "cultivated and sometimes escaped" in scattered locations in PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993; Rhoads & Block 2007). First reported for NC by Pittillo & Brown (1988).
