A genus of 5 or more species, widespread in the New World and Old World tropics, subtropics, and warm temperate areas.
ID notes: Superficially, Oplismenus somewhat resembles Arthraxon, but has the leaves only slightly cordate at the base (vs. strongly cordate-clasping).
