*Uropappus lindleyi (A.P. de Candolle) Nuttall. Common name: Lindley’s Silver-puff. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Waste area near wool-combing mill, presumably merely a waif. Distribution: Native of sw. United States. See Nesom (2004d) about this species' occurrence as a wool-alien in SC.

Origin/Endemic status: W. North America

Synonymy : = FNA19, K4; = Microseris lindleyi (DC.) A.Gray — POWO; = n/a — RAB. Basionym: Calais lindleyi DC. 1838
