Cerastium velutinum Rafinesque var. villosissimum (Pennell) J.K. Morton. Octoraro Creek Chickweed. Phen: May-Aug. Hab: Serpentine barrens. Dist: This taxon is highly restricted, found only at a few stations in the serpentine barrens of Chester County, PA, and Cecil County, MD (Gustafson et al. 2003).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
