*Scorzoneroides Moench. Common name: Fall-dandelion.
A genus of about 20 species, herbs, primarily of temperate Eurasia. Samuel et al. (2006) show that Leontodon subgenus Oporinia (including Leontodon autumnalis among our species) should be recognized as a genus separate from Leontodon sensu stricto. The correct name at the generic level is Scorzoneroides Moench (Greuter, Gutermann, & Talavera 2006).
