Spermacoce Linnaeus. Common name: Buttonweed.

Key to Spermacoce

A genus of about 150-250 species, herbs, of tropical and warm-temperate Old and New World. Here circumscribed to include Borreria G.F.W. Meyer; additional changes in circumscription seem likely as genera in the Spermacoceae are recircumscribed. Some minor nomenclatural issues also still need resolution in the Spermacoceae.
