Viburnum lantanoides Michaux. Hobblebush, Witch's-hobble, Tangle-legs, Moosewood. Phen: Apr-early Jun; Jun-Jul (-Oct). Hab: Spruce-fir forests, northern hardwood forests, boulderfields, southwards (as in the Southern Blue Ridge of NC, TC, sw. VA, and n. GA) primarily over 1000 m elevation. Dist: NB and ON south to w. NC, ne. GA, e. TN, and OH.
