*Quercus myrsinifolia Blume. Common name: Chinese Evergreen Oak, Bamboo-leaf Oak, Chinese Ring-cupped Oak. Habitat: Disturbed areas, naturalizing near rare plantings. Distribution: Native of China. Reported naturalizing at several sites in GA Piedmont by Zomlefer et al. (2018).

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = Cyclobalanopsis myrsinifolia (Blume) Oerst. — Lin et al (2013); = n/a — FNA3, K4, NS, POWO. Basionym: Quercus myrsinifolia Blume 1850
