Quercus durandii Buckley var. breviloba (Torrey) E.J. Palmer. Subgenus: Quercus. Section: Quercus. Subsection: Stellatae. Common name: Bigelow's Oak, Scalybark Oak. Habitat: Limestone outcrops, rocky areas; calcareous prairies. Distribution: S. OK and c. TX south to Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM).
