Phlox oklahomensis Wherry. Common name: Prairie-star Phlox, Oklahoma Phlox. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Post oak woodlands. Distribution: S. KS to nc. TX. "Known from a 1958 collection from oak woodland 4 miles E of Garland, Dallas County (Taylor & Taylor, 1980; Tyrl et al., 1978)" (Carr 2016).
