not marked as a favorite taxon Carex edwardsiana E.L. Bridges & Orzell. Common name: Edwards Plateau Sedge. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Ravine slopes over calcareous substrates. Distribution: Nearly endemic to the Edwards Plateau, but edging into the Blackland Prairie region.
