Rhus microphylla Engelmann. Subgenus: Lobadium. Section: Rhoeidium. Common name: Desert Sumac, Scrub Sumac. Phenology: Apr-May; Jul-Aug. Habitat: Rocky hillsides, riverbanks. Distribution: E. TX, sw. OK, NM, and AZ south through c. and w. TX to Mexico.
