*Bowlesia incana Ruiz & Pavón. Phen: Feb-Jun. Hab: Open wet hammocks and bottomlands, suburban woodlands, urban waste areas. Dist: Native of South America. The native distribution of this species is uncertain. Reported from multiple locations in SC (Bradley et al. [in prep.]).

Origin/Endemic status: South America

Synonymy: = Ar, Fl7, GW2, K1, K3, K4, MC, Mex, NcTx, Ok, Tx, WH3, Mathias & Constance (1965); = Bowlesia septentrionalis Coult. & Rose – S, S13; = n/a – RAB
