Townsendia exscapa (Richardson) Porter. Common name: Stemless Townsend-daisy. Phenology: Jan-Apr. Habitat: Limestone slopes and open dry prairies. Distribution: MB west to AB, south to ec. TX, w. TX, NM, AZ, and n. Mexico (CHH, COA, DGO, SON).
