*Cercidiphyllum japonicum Siebold & Zuccarini. Common name: Katsura-tree. Phenology: Mar-Apr. Habitat: Suburban woodlands and forests, naturalizing from horticultural use. Distribution: Native of Japan. Long et al. (2024) stated that "it is our opinion the species be considered “potentially invasive” in eastern North America; we support that assessment.
