not marked as a favorite taxon Senecio riddellii Torrey & A. Gray. Common name: Riddell's Ragwort. Phenology: (Jul-) Aug-Oct. Habitat: Floodplains, other seasonally ponded areas. Also in dry, sandy habitats (prairies, dunes, sandy loams, roadsides, and other similar grasslands). Distribution: SD and WY south to se. TX, NM, AZ, and n. Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM).
