Iris rivularis Small. clade: Phaeiris. Sylvan Iris. Hab: Floodplain marshes. Dist: Apparently endemic to the watershed of the St. Marys River.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Small recognized this taxon, in addition to a number of other segregates within the Iris hexagona complex that need further testing. See Mavrodiev et al. (2021) for more information.

Synonymy: = S; = Phaeiris species 1 – Mavrodiev et al (2021); < Iris giganticaerulea Small – FNA26, K3, K4
