Muhlenbergia tenuifolia (Kunth) Trinius. Slimleaf Muhly. Dist: East TX, w. to NM, s. through Mexico to n. South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Other Comments: Primarily occurring in Trans-Pecos area of w. TX south and westward; occurring in a few scattered counties in e. and se. TX (e.g. Nueces and Brazos County; see Shaw et al. 2011). Any reports of this species east of the MS river appear to be in error.

Synonymy: = FNA25, K4, Mex; = n/a – RAB
