Liatris hesperelegans Nesom. Common name: Western Elegant Blazing-star. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills and other dry savannas and woodlands. Distribution: W. AR, s. AR, and se. OK south to w. LA and e. TX.
