Amsonia glaberrima Woodson. Common name: Gulf Bluestar, Pond Bluestar. Habitat: Seasonally flooded depression wetlands and moist pinelands. Distribution: S. AL, s. MS, s. LA, and se. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
