*Iris florentina Linnaeus. Common name: Cemetery Iris, White Lily-of-the-field, White-Flag Iris. Phenology: Mar-early Jun. Habitat: Roadsides, fence rows, old homesites, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of the Middle East.

Origin/Endemic status: W. Asia

Taxonomy Comments: Needing additional separation from I. germanica across our region.
