Dichanthelium linearifolium (Lamson-Scribner) Gould var. werneri (Lamson-Scribner) Mohlenbrock. Common name: Low White-haired Witchgrass. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Acidic woodlands, knolls. Distribution: QC and ME south to VA, KY, and TX.
