Convolvulus equitans Bentham var. equitans . Texas Bindweed, Gray Bindweed, Silver Bindweed. Phen: (Feb-) Apr-Nov. Hab: Prairies, especially in rocky or sandy soils, eastwards in disturbed areas. Dist: Native of sw. United States and nw. Mexico. Sw. AR, KS, CO, UT, and NV south to e. TX, s. TX, NM, AZ, and Mexico. Recorded for s. AL by C. Mohr in 1883; probably a ballast waif and not established.
